I have a rooted Me176cx running version .198, and have frozen a ton of bloatware, but now I cannot install sideloaded apk files. It's like the "install" button won't respond when I tap it. Is there a specific software that won't allow apps to be installed that I may have frozen---there are too...

Whew! It took me a good 3 hours, but I finally got it updated to .198. Why so long? I had a lot of trial and error, was doing this on a mac, learning on the fly, trying to decipher vague instructions on how to use adb, (and I apparently had the update.zip file in the wrong data folder)...

Thanks jerbear! noob question: how do I flash it manually? I've got the .198.zip file. Do I put it in the /data file, and then extract it using the PC or on the tablet using a file explorer app?
