Is your phone out of warranty or something?

Syncing icon is there also. Mine turn white right after a reboot, then turn green as the boot phase is finishing up.

TB wake and camcorder are the only things I am missing right now. I still miss battery percentage but that is minor. Location services only works with Google maps for me. Genie can't find me and weatherbug sometimes finds me. It's flaky. I am on AT&T.

I have been using Adw ex for about a week and it is buttery smooth. Like as smooth as launcher pro is. The transitions are smoother if you set them to change faster. This rom itself is much smoother than any froyo rom IMHO. It at least FEELS like it's using gpu acceleration even if it isn't.

It was a few months ago but I got two swaps of my AT&T phone. The first one had a goofy screen.

Why? They were sold from March until around late summer. The warranty is a year long either way.

Just to be clear, insurance and warranty are two different things. It's still under warranty.

At least contact HTC for a swap before the warranty runs out.

I have been using these CM7 builds as daily drivers and have no real complaints.

In just the last few days the CyanogenMod 7 pre build has gotten really good and absolutely no lag on anything. And I have tried throwing everything at it.

I've said it once and I'll say it again, gingerbread has really cleaned up the lagginess on my N1. The Adw launcher EX put it over the top. Smoother and faster than launcher pro. It must be using the gpu finally in an efficient and effective way.

According to cyanogen they aren't releasing until they have a working camcorder. But he said "build it yourself." So that's what some people went and did. The fitsnugly build is pretty goddamn sweet.

The gingerbread build from fitsnugly is really badass. Smooth as silk in the menus and scrolling. Better than any froyo build I have ever used. Nexus one has had new life breathed into it.

The CM7 ROM is the best GB ROM I have tried! Smooth and fast. I am using it as my daily driver since I don't really care about camcorder. It actually scrolls menus smoother than the best Froyo ROMs out there, IMO.
