The baseband is the same, both on NJ1. I used a phone info app and saw where the bad signal one is showing unknown on the CSC Product Code. The low signal phone was purchased already unlocked and rooted. The good one I rooted and unlocked.

Totally agree. How about dropping a few more builds on us till LP gets settled.

I had a different device a couple of years ago that did that. The "fix" I used was freeze or delete DSP Manager. It is a signal processor, is Eq and sound shaping. I don't have my headphones handy to try mine to see. I will tomorrow.

Mine is stock Dopa no OC. I use Disable Services app to shut down bothersome services in some apps. ie. the giant player service in the Kindle app. I have never had a shut down, lock up or overheating. I also have never had problems running an app 1.2/1.3 ghz with the available RAM is plenty...
