Maybe the file you downloaded is corrupt? If not, try using another USB port or doing a factory reset. What I did was flash SER 7.0 and download the 8.0 update via system update.

As far as I know, flashing these files won't trip Knox since they're OEM files. But I recommend doing a backup just in case the phone does a factory reset.
