I have a very similar issue but I'm not going to bother with contacting them as there's practically no point in doing so. It's definitely a hardware issue, unfortunately.

It passes both for me, check if you have locked OEM and Bootloader. Also turn on Magisk Hide if it's not turned on yet, it hides from a certain Google Play Services module

Are you sure you're using the correct command? There's "fastboot oem nubia_lock NUBIA_NX659J" and "fastboot flashing lock". "fastboot flashing unlock" breaks the fingerprint

You need to lock the bootloader to make it work, this will wipe your phone however. It says the fingerprint is on the back because the devs didn't bother fixing the typo in the setup.
