Thanks for pointing out the settings. The Gmail application is not listed in there. I have added the application yammer to it. The adblocker still does NOT work even with it listed as always on.

Got the marshmallow update. Everything seems good but, for the data syncing limitations on power saving mode. It doesn't seem to let you choice which apps get data. I'm not rooted, but if rooting will give me control over this aspect I may have to root. What good is a phone that has 2 hours...
