Your problem is not Froyo. Internal SD issues are unrelated to firmware. Any Froyo + Bell modem works just fine. There are other modems with 850 support that work just fine too.

Active tracking has been a-o-k the whole time as well which I thought was implied by using the "locking to 10m accuracy" terminology.
