Post Weirdest black screen issue, tried everything ....

I realize this thread is quite old but I have this exact same issue now. I have managed to discover some other information by playing around with various settings which are noted below. To begin with, I was able to used the AOD hack posted above for a while but it no longer works. The only...

Post [Q] GT-I9000 gos directly into download mode >> Please Help <<<

Mine just did the same thing - it is has been stuck in Downloading yellow triangle screen for the last hour or so. I didn't do anything - it did it by itself and is totally stock on gingerbread. I plugged it in so at least the battery doesn't die but it would be nice to know what the hell is...

Post Why does stock music player auto play when bluetooth in car connects?

Hhhm, that may explain it. This must be a Ford thing.

Thread Why does stock music player auto play when bluetooth in car connects?

This annoys the hell out of me. Why does the music player startup everytime I connect via bluetooth in my car? Is there any way to stop this short of deleting the stock player?

Thanks, the more pre-orders that cancelled, the sooner I get mine!

    Post Best Buy Pre-Orders Only.

Why are people blaming Best Buy and other retailers for Asus' problem? Seems non-sensical but whatever....

Post Prime Canadian Pre order thread

    1) WiFi was identified as a potential issue on a number of pre-retail units that were sent out to reviewers. Reviewers complained about poor signal strength in a number of these units. 2) Asus agreed there was an issue but they needed to investigate the cause - Asus did not believe it was a...

Post (New After JK4 Froyo) POLL:Bell I9000M Internal SD Failures

Nice, some fucking clowns here are scamming Bell and are looking for our help. Here's my offer - I'll personally brick your phone by shoving it so far up your ass you'll have to puke it out your mouth. Fucking morons.

Post (New After JK4 Froyo) POLL:Bell I9000M Internal SD Failures

My JK4 bricked two days ago. I just got off with Bell a few minutes ago and they are sending me a new phone and a return waybill for the brick. The technical solutions rep said it would ship out this pm and take about 5 days from Missisauga to BC. I also asked if there was any credit...

    Post [Q] Bell i9000m - Froyo

Your problem is not Froyo. Internal SD issues are unrelated to firmware. Any Froyo + Bell modem works just fine. There are other modems with 850 support that work just fine too.

Post [Q] Which ROMs are safe for Bell I9000M (850mhz) users?

Active tracking has been a-o-k the whole time as well which I thought was implied by using the "locking to 10m accuracy" terminology.

Post [Q] Which ROMs are safe for Bell I9000M (850mhz) users?

I've never had a GPS problem so I can't tell you if its an issue with the hardware/software/location/interference, etc. Since day 1 (three months ago) I have had no issues locking satellites to 10m accuracy, regardless of firmware. Actually the only time I had an issue was on Osoyoos lake but...

Post [Q] Which ROMs are safe for Bell I9000M (850mhz) users?

Good job and clarification - as long as the modem supports 850 it does not need to be Bell.

Post [Q] Which ROMs are safe for Bell I9000M (850mhz) users?

Okay here are some straight facts - you can flash any of the new roms on a Bell SGS. You need the Bell version of the modem to maintain 850 - it works with 2.2 - it may or may not not be fully optimized for 2.2 but it works just as well as it does on 2.1. It just doesn't matter that much in...

    Post Android Bluetooth Support

This must be a taboo subject - there is literally no information anywhere on this. The only thing I could find is that Marvell has licensed the Android version of Blue SDK. Blue SDK for Andorid integrates MAP and a whole host of Bluetooth advanced profiles at a software level but I can't find...
