step 1) install up to date Motorola Drivers
step 2) if device is on ICS 4.0.1 (check in settings>>about) skip this step. Else, use RSD Lite 5.6 to upgrade to Stock ICS 4.0.1 ATT USA (found in this list).
step 3) easy root using Atrix 2 ICS 4.0.1 Root Instructions
step 4) install ES Explorer and activate Root Explorer.
step 5) install Boot Menu Manager and follow these instructions about BMM near the bottom of the first post.
