Post At&t US mobile hotspot glitch

What I don't understand is why do you need to connect to a wifi network first? If you have already connected to a wifi network, why not connect your other devices to that same wifi network instead of trying to hack the phone's hotspot?

Post Full process for updating stock AT&T S7 Edge from 6.0.1 MM to Nougat?

These people need to be spoon fed. I get your frustration.

Post "Curved" Tempered Glass Screen Protector Thread (S7 EDGE)

I don't understand why would you apply a screen protector to a beautiful Gorilla Glass 4 screen that our phones already have? I would imagine that the screen protector itself reduces display quality, luminosity, increases glare, introduces possibility of dust under the screen, probably reduces...

No, not normal. Can you reflash? Also, wipe cache in recovery mode.

Yes, I get really hard and jack off this stuff. Of course you can ask questions, that's what the forums are for, but it doesn't help when there is irrelevant information in a thread meant to address something else. This makes it harder to gather answers in the future for someone else...

Post I'm done hosting the 935u Files-- It's been a fun run!

I updated my G935A that had PI3 G935U firmware to Nougat using the firmware in the Nougat thread. Please stay on topic, the other thread has details of what you need to do.

Post I'm done hosting the 935u Files-- It's been a fun run!

FYI to everyone, I was not receiving the PL4 update because my 935A was on the PI3 firmware but modem was T-Mo's PK1. I loaded the PI3 modem to make the phone back to "stock" and when I checked the updates, it finally started downloading. It appears you need everything to be on PI3 before...

How about battery on the A? I'd like to go back as well for VoLTE and Wifi Calling but the battery sucked. Also, how did you debloat? Thanks in advance.

Post I'm done hosting the 935u Files-- It's been a fun run!

I have the T-Mo PK1 modem on my G935A with this PI3 firmware. Reception and LTE speeds are not any different than with the PI3 modem. Only reason I kept it is because since it's not hurting anything, I figured PK1 is newer than PI3 anyway...at least judging by the other PI1, PI2, then PK1...

Post I'm done hosting the 935u Files-- It's been a fun run!

From what I hear, you are still going to need to use the eng kernel which to my knowledge is full of stability issues. The only reason I would root would be to get VoLTE and Wifi Calling working on the AT&T network. Other than this, nothing is compelling enough to make me deal with an unstable...

Post I'm done hosting the 935u Files-- It's been a fun run!

I thought it was answered, but my apologies if you didn't understood the response clearly. Here in the US, T-Mobile allows 3rd party phones that support VoLTE work this feature on their network. This is why the G935A installed with the U firmware has VoLTE on T-Mobile network. However, the...

Post I'm done hosting the 935u Files-- It's been a fun run!

To add, the stock AT&T firmware DOES support VoLTE but only when used with AT&T's network. VoLTE is carrier dependent, and although the U does support VoLTE, it is up to the carrier to allow non-carrier VoLTE capable phones on their network. The U is considered a third party non-carrier phone...

OTA works, but you will now get them directly from Samsung. However, I understand Samsung is actually slower to send out updates then the carrier themselves.

They are both BL4 so you will able to revert back.

No, data will be unaffected. ---------- Post added at 02:25 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:22 AM ---------- My recommendation is to backup using smart switch, flash PI3 then restore.
