I see my problem. I was long pressing that key which gets to the choice of keyboard. A short press will get to the configure menu. Thanks for the help!

All I get is select input method and my choice of keyboards when I hit the timer icon. ????

How do you configure either of these keyboards? When I hit the key with the configure icon in Hackers I get a dialog box that gives me a choice of keyboards.

This all makes sense to me. When it becomes unresponsive the cloth case I have is closed. I've noticed that the loose cloth from the case sometimes t touches the screen. Sometimes this must confuse the sensors, causing the freeze. When I leave the case open, so far, it hasn't frozen. Thanks...

I can pinch to zoom in Opera so guess I must have multitouch enabled. I used the method given here to root: http://bit.ly/1mQmLyJ I am using the 176 kernal. Been having this problem fairly recently. Doesn't matter if wifi is on or off. Don't have any app to manage sleep as far as I know.

My NST sometimes freezes when it is sleeping. I can wake it up to the ADW screen by hitting the "n" button but then it is unresponsive. to my touch and can not start any apps. The only way I can get control is by long pressing the back button until it is shut down, then rebooting. Then all is...

On my nook, if I just add another reader app I get the chance to pick any default reader app again.

Reinstall moon+ (or install some other reader) and you will be given the opportunity to select a default reader again from all readers installed.

A real problem on the NST. The best I've found is Renate's Library.apk http://www.temblast.com/download/Library-1.11.apk That doesn't have the option for categories or keywords, however.

Hmm. The latest glow-light seems to have no flashing in its Reader.We have established that we are using different versions of B&N 1.2.1 software. The thought occurred to me that maybe there was an improvement to B&N software that I don't have. Does that make sense?
