    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL][4.3/4.4]ParanoidAndroid (AOSPA-legacy) for SPH-L720

Rom is great out of the box. I have run into one bug that I haven't been able to figure out on my own because I'm just not familiar with apns. The attached pic is a screenshot of my apns. Often, my phone week automatically select one of the bottom two apns which are listed as "cdma 1/2" these...

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL][4.3/4.4]ParanoidAndroid (AOSPA-legacy) for SPH-L720

Just flashed the latest RC2, dated 10OCT13. Looks like I've got 3g and 4g which seems to work on browser and other internet things. The first problem I encountered is that the connection times out whenever accessing any Google play services such as the store or signing in. This seems to only...

My fault. I was thinking that you were going off the dBm reading in the status bar. -Mobile post

I, too could be mistaken, but I'm rather sure the reason is that stock ROMs show voice signal strength, while aosp based ROMs display data signal strength. -Mobile post

How does the thermometer measure anything but the battery temperature? I figured that the battery temp would overshadow anything else it could measure. Maybe my phone just runs too hot? -Mobile post

    Post Introduce yourselves, proud owners!!

Hey ladies and gents. I picked up my s4 pretty much at launch. I'm an android vet, so I've already rooted and am running paranoid android rc2. Loving the lack of bloatware on aosp! -Mobile post

    Post TWRP 2.6.0 restore data

Leader, Thanks for such an informative write up. I will check into rolling back to a different twrp build. It's an unpleasant solution, but if it works I'll have to bite the bullet. Thanks again! -Mobile post

    Thread TWRP 2.6.0 restore data

Ladies and gentlemen, Recently, whilst flashing a new ROM, I had an issue. I tried to restore a backup that I created with TWRP 2.6.0 with the same version. I got to the "Restore data" stage in the logs, and it failed. I have two data.ext4 files in my TWRP backup folder: the first is...

Post In need for help with my S4, please

I had this problem as well once. My cure was using Revo or some other advanced uninstaller to remove Samsung Kies, then I reinstalled the Samsung drivers. However, that is only assuming that your problem is coming from your computer. Sounds like your phone's usb drivers got messed up during the...

Post What keyboard are you using and why?

Swype here too. Maybe it's just a factor of training, but I am fastest with it. I've tried the Google keyboard and it is ok, but punctuation is difficult. Also, Swype has multiple languages and does pinyin well. -Mobile post
