I'm using no frills cpu control, I've set it to 254 and it still restarts randomly. I'm going to wipe and start a fresh, however is there a way you can implement last_kmsg? On blade I can access that in /proc/last_kmsg this usually shows if it is a cpu clock issue or an application issue.

I've tried underclocking and it still restarts. sometimes once an hour, can't figure out why.

Ok how about a different approch, Is there anyway I can restore the phone to factory firmware without a working SD card slot?

Not sure if it's because of the JIT but.. When the g1 is at 1% battery left, it powers down as it would normally, but I can power it back up, and it will last for hours more with 3g I'm talking 6-7 hours. Could be some issue with the rom I'm using though
