Thanks did the same. got my phone rooted. Mskip I used the option 3 All in one then i used clockworkmod Recovery & Super Su by chainfire. my phone is rooted but i cannot access recovery by pressing the volume up+home +power button when starting. Do i need to do something else to do it.

got it checked at service centre they said 2 ic wer burnt need to change the motherboard. Is there any way the data on the internal memory card can be retrieved. The service centre people saying no for it.
