What model do you have? I'm looking for one that can be rooted and still work on Verizon.

I'm on a rooted stock 4.4.4 ROM with NK1 radio. I agree that KK based roms are optimal for this device and want to try something new to fix stagefright and other vulnerabilities. Is CM11 still a no go for LTE? What about DU on NK1?

I noticed that the root.bat file doesn't sucessfully process the "adb shell pm hide ..." commands due to the prior supersu.cmds rebooting the handset first. I'm not sure how important these are, but I added a line "adb wait-for-device" immediately after the "adb shell < supersu.cmds" line so...
