I've experienced the same thing. Disabling a lot of the "start at boot" apps seemed to fix the issue, but its still worrying.

I cant seem to get the phone back into fastboot mode... Blankflash appears to work, no visible errors, and even says "rebooting to fastboot" at the end. However, the phone just stays connected as a Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008. fastboot devices lists nothing, and running blankflash again does...

I do have to say, the 5.2 version really improved battery life. It is noticeably better than stock now.

I think you got something right withe v5.2... Camera seems to not have any issues now, and the battery life/ smoothness of animations is a lot better.

So here are my findings. At this point i decided to try and delete the "Camera" directory or the DCIM directory on the SD card. Whenever i tried to do it, Amaze would crash. Local DCIM was deleted fine. This seemed very odd. So I got a shell and checked the permissions. Everything looked ok...

How bad is it? I've compiled cyanogen on some pretty poor machines before... the first build will just be an overnight one.

That is why i wanted the original snap... its harder to change the location in opencamera. It helped a little, maybe, but it still has issues now.

I think it might be related to writing the file to the camera roll... Apps that don't usually write a file to the camera roll work fine (facebook messenger, etc), but OpenCamera and "stock" snap both hang 95% of the time. Rebooting sometimes helps, but it usually only gets through 1 photo...

Will the CM port benefit from these changes? still some stability issues with the camera.

Is there an easy way to get the stock CM camera back? Opencamera seems to not work as well as the CM one did for me (takes forever to save a photo).
