Thank you for your efforts. Any chance that this ROM can work for E6533 (dual SIM) variant? Or can you plan to support?

    Post New Google Wallet APP

Can you please share nfc.apk and nfc-handover.apk from your device? I have a deodexed ROM for my 6506, and I tried them extracting from 6502/3 FTF and deodexed APKS. But as soon I replace them, NFC option disappears from settings. Rest all the files in etc,lib folders are same. Thanks.

Yes you are correct. Wallet V2.0-R133-v9 - Tap and pay enabled, with above build.prop changes. nothing happens when I try and use at NFC terminal. haven't heard anyone got it working on 6506. Revert NFC.apk from where? do you have a version that I can try? (I have .244 firmware) And where...

    Post New Google Wallet APP

Here you go... What I have found that only 'ro.nfc.se.smx.enable=true' is required for wallet to enable tap and pay. Rest all (ro.product.name, ro.product.device & ro.product.model) does not matter with V2 wallet app. But have changed it to GNex values anyways.

    Post New Google Wallet APP

ogdobber, thanks for your valuable input to this thread. Since you are a developer, I am hoping that attached logcat file (generated for a failed NFC attempt at POS) will be helpful in suggesting possible options to make it work. this is for XZL C6506 for 4.2.2 (.244 ROM) and latest Goggle...

Post Google Wallet no longer working on .244

+1 Working with Tap and Pay on XZL 6506 with .244 Update: Although Tap and Pay gets setup and Wallet shows it. NFC is not initiated at pay stations. :( If I go back to my 4.1.2 ROM, same new Wallet starts working with NFC payments.

It works It sure does.. tested on C6506 XZL on T-Mobile. :good::good::good: Update: Although wallet shows Tap and Pay is activated/possible, actual NFC activation do not happen. New wallet app still works with 4.1.2 ROM.

    Post {ZL}[DEVELOPMENT] - CM10.1 - Android 4.2.2 - FreeXperia Project

Sony IR App?? Can DEV's comment on possibility of porting Sony IR app on this ROM? I understand that this a CM ROM which is generic but checking if it is a possibility. Or sony ir apk extracted from device should just work with this ROM? Thanks in advance.

+1 Noticed this behavior in dirty flashing of other ROMS too.. Some of the GApps shortcuts on home screen are not linked to actual apps. It is just a matter of deleting and re-creating those shortcuts. Just an occupational hazard of dirty flashing.
