stevae , you need root access and a root explorer app then you will find the sound in system/media/audio/notifications as S_Whistle.ogg you can delete it there and it should be gone ...

damn , never tried to open a stock rom ... cant dezip because its a ext4 file .. i guess it will be in systemui.apk .. if not try framework-res.apk , twframework-res.apk , seccontacts and if exists secphone ... Cheers Bro

ya , but with kitkat 4.4.4 and later samsung changed most icons to a custom file format like atc , astc or qmg ...these formats are very hard to convert back and forth so it is really a pain in the ass ... i think samsung prefers the iphone customers who like non customizable expensive crap :(

I can understand you perfectly i had the same thing on some of my themes but i choosed to simply ignore them ;) Have you played around with an 4.4.4 rom and saw all the astc and qmg files ? do you had success in converting all the stuff ? Saludos Sam

can take some time because samsung / google changed all the images from png to some open gl format in 4.4.4 , need to find out how to convert and stuff :(

Nice Pille , only the download sources are bad :( dl is very slow from dhs , and the other two download options will dl exe files which i dont wanna execute because i dont know that sharehoster ... if you need download space you can get some on my server :)

make sure you completely transferred the rom with original cable to your phone and check if its write protected in windows , if yes the dl is corrupted ..
