Can we root the Tab3 7 T217SD4 with 4.4.2 on it this way?

OTA 4.4.2 Just got it on a new SG Tab3 7" and it cleared the "Preparing Network" icon. I had done a MSL reset yesterday and it had cleared it before I bricked it. I returned it, got a new one and it cleared it on its own after the 4.4.2 update.

I got the notice on my phone. I clicked on it to install it. It took me to TWERP! What did I do wrong? Do I have to unroot first? Please help!

So it will affect our rooting? I went through all of the posts on the new update ZVC, but can't figure out whether to do it or not. I don't want to lose my rooting.:confused:

Is there a way to assign different notification sounds to individual contacts? I have the stock messaging app. Maybe through another app?

I did the ZVB 4.1.2, rooted and unlocked my LGOG. Now the Wifi isn't working. Not recognizing available networks, button doesn't come on after pressed. Anyone else having this problem? Edited: Fixed it! Restarted the phone!

Got it! Changed Device-Profile to Samsung Galaxy Nexus (CDMA/LTE) and got it to work! Thanks for the help.

Just bought LG OG, rooted it with v9. Can't get wifi tethering to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Tried the Generic ICS/JB (wlan0) and it was a no go. Not unlocked though.

Finally Rooted my DS7 I wish to thank EwanG for making this so simple to accomplish. I had been holding off in doing it and finally got down to doing it. I can't seem to find the "Thanks" button on the forum, so again, thanks EwanG. Edit: Found the button!
