It's been months now with this problem. I have finally decided to stop using this phone and gone back to my old device. It's so annoying that Vivo left a flagship phone bite the dust. I was skeptical to invest big bucks and Vivo has proven me right that never again should I trust such brands...

Update : So I got my phone back from the service centre. They have changed the usb component and now everything's working fine.

Took it to service center where after 2 hrs of investigation, they ruled it as a strange hardware issue ans have asked for 3-4 days for getting and replacing the faulty part. It is 2nd day today, will comment again once i get my phone back.

Yes just press any volume button 2-3 times. Basically you just need the speaker to emit a sound after boot. Sent from my GT-N7100 using XDA Free mobile app

This is a common issue with CM based roms on note 2. There is a work-around for this. Whenever you boot your phone, press the volume keys to make that volume adjustment sound. That's it. Your call will work fine after that. Note : Do this everytime you boot the phone. ---------- Post added at...
