If you used towelroot your warranty is fine but if you want to check you can use the Phone info app in the playstore. It should say your knox warranty void is 0x0.

Don't know if there's any work around but we had the same issue with employees where i work and the company offered us cell phones to use for business purposes only. It worked out very well for me because i was in the exact same predicament as you.

Amen to what newman said i would factory reset before complaining about problems. I haven't updated to 5.0 yet because i really don't see a reason to just yet but i would definitely factory reset for peace of mind if i did.

Do you have priority notifications on? It's a lollipop notification on symbol as far as i know.

Yes it does but it also trips knox so your warranty is void if that matters to you.

Once you trip knox you can't go back and undo it. Nobody has figured out a way to reset it yet.

Yes it only voids your warranty that's all. You could of tried towelroot v3 to root by opening the app and tapping at the top where it says towelroot v3 three times then put this number in 1337 0 1 7380 4 0 but if you aren't worried about warranty CF-Autoroot works just fine.

No what i was saying is after you download a rom you should check to make sure the md5 of that rom matches the posted md5 that's under every rom link. If your downloaded rom's md5 doesn't match what's posted then you got a bad download and you'll need to download the rom again till the md5...
