everyone, have you found that google pay etc works with unlocked bootloader, custom ROM etc, or is this non functional after root/unlock? In the past I have had phones that will no longer run such functions due to compromised security etc.

BTW, for some reason the SP Tools flash_tool.exe won't run on my W7 (Windows 7) pc, comes up with a "side by side" error. Can't find much on this.

It's cheating a little bit - 2x stock batteries in parallel. Been testing charge/discharge on this one. All is working fine. Would need a hump back mod to the case - trimmed the skin on the back to fit around the extra battery. Sent from my XT897 using XDA Free mobile app

I've been watching the Z also, and have read that thread. This would be the single best Mod they could release, & I'm currently debating whether to buy a Priv & sacrifice the 5 row keyboard side-slider, or take a chance on the Z in the hope that they (or others) will release a slider keyboard...
