    Post HTC U11 updates thread

It is too little too late. I've contacted HTC Netherlands about this a few months ago, but zero reply. If HTC can't think for itself that running a 7 month security lag on their 2017 flagship is a liability, well I'll make sure this is my last HTC. They really don't care for the European...

Post Would you buy next years Samsung Phones without the S-Pen?

Without S-pen, I would look elsewhere. Many a phone out there without the premium pricing and good specs.

Post Interesting article in the WSJ about the choronolgy of events with the Note 7

Samsung was paying people to shut up about it. More than enough had done that I reckon. There is no way of getting the actual number of confirmed burns.

Post [Poll] What screen size you want in next note ?

6" and flat please. No edgy stuff for me. The Note 3 was 5,7" in 2013, so it was a bit of a letdown the N7 3 years later was even smaller.

Try making the same call from the Netherlands. ;)

Post How soon will you buy the Next Samsung Flagship?

Yet, after all those years, they can't make a phone that doesn't overheat (or lag for that matter). The focus is on the battery now, but that wasn't the only fault with the N7. I'm still mighty pissed of there is no flat version and that we are getting ignored in Europe most of the time. There...

Post Death of the Stylus? Note 7 axed.

Perhaps the batteries for the flat version (wider) were being crammed into the edge version. Wouldn't be the first time such a mix-up brings a heap of trouble. OT: I remember a billion dollar Mars mission where they mixed up the metric and Imperial systems when they tried to orbit a sattelite...

Post How soon will you buy the Next Samsung Flagship?

Well, if there is no freebie involved, I won't be pre-ordering at full price anyway. I usually buy when there is some nice incentive to be had. But the next Samsung Flagship will be the 5.0-5.5" range S8 (edge), probably with annoying SD 830. So I think I'll pass again.

Post Replacement AT&T Note7 *Supposedly* Overheated on a Southwest Flight 10/4

v20 won't appear in Europe soon. All those Android manufacturers try to get to the overcrowded US-market with their weird carriers, while in Europe Android is at 85% market share and you could sell some phones in a 750m (US=320m) pop market.

Post Replacement AT&T Note7 *Supposedly* Overheated on a Southwest Flight 10/4

OnePlus 3 is the one I'll be getting I guess. Looks nice, has Amoled and is cheap. I'll weather the storm until a proper Note is released again. I don't trust the LG QC one bit since their bootloop issues and besides, the V20 isn't available here for the coming months.

Post Samsung halting Note7 production: They think it's all over? It is now!

No offense, but I get a bit cringeworthy about their headlines... I almost feel like I need to post a certain Oprah meme. :p

I will believe it in a real world review compared to other phones.

€ 1.009 for the 128GB XL here. And I think it looks like an old iPhone, so why not get the real thing for € 1.019? It would resell a whole lot better.

Post Death of the Stylus? Note 7 axed.

They used that stylus-statistic to slide the S6Edge+ down our throats and not bring the Note 5 to Europe. The S6E+ tanked and is now being sold with 200+ euro discounts to get rid of excisting stocks. The Note series is the only phone with stylus. You have nowhere else to go. So switching now...

Post Death of the Stylus? Note 7 axed.

Problem is, the Note 4 (only second hand) and 5 (only grey import) also aren't available anymore, so if my Note 3 would die now, I have nothing to replace it with.
