Thank you for a detail reply. I will try that older version of Nougat then. Just wondering you said to boot to TWRP and wipe and factory reset. But do I use my SD card recovery with TWRP?

I have had my nook for a while now. But I am having a very sluggish and lagging tablet. And also sometime the rotation glitches and I have to press all over the screen to stop the screen tear. I know the nook hd+ is a old tablet, but I thought it would of been a little more quicker with Android...
