Ok long story short I got the phone off fb marketplace supposed to be unlocked but of course mt att prepay sim says invalid... and does not prompt for unlock code looking into the phone it doesn't have a sprint rom as the rom ends in JETER_NA_CUST and not sprint... plus there is no sprint...

I just ditched my Acer Iconia A500 for the Thrive, and I love it. Seems so much more durable better wifi and GPS and the full size HDMI is a plus, although there does seem to be a bad lag between typing and the words actually appearing on the screen.
