are you rooted and using kodi as your launcher? i had this problem yesterday it was like kodi changed to a resolution that my tv didnt recognize if i held the home button it brought up sleep, screen mirror, and settings i chose settings wiped kodi data and all was good again.

yes thats exactly what i did cause my 12V outlets are always on so i had to add a separate one

its a ground issue the way that i got it to go away was put a separate 12 volt power supply that was grounded right to the chassis of my truck supposedly an isolated buck converter can will eliminate it but there hard to find except from china on ebay like this one...

you dont need the sim card for anything i took mine out as soon as i got it and leave it out and have had no issues

computer wont charge it are you trying to charge it with the usb port? cause the xoom wont charge through usb

just flashed and it booted pretty quick still has stock honeycomb boot animation and when when you tap the notifications the screen turns green but pretty smooth so far

wrong section this belongs in Q&A but all you need to do is get into recovery (adb reboot recovery) and then try wiping data and re flashing the rom

what app are you using to tether have you tried any others like easy tether?
