Oh, that's possible.... however confusing, since page 1, post 1 says "Based on Stock Google Play Edition ROM for M8 and MIUI V5 Patchrom for KitKat"
Thanks for the info, I'll give it a shot when I get a chance to repartition.
No worries man, it's totally cool.... just, you know, my ego is suffering. I haven't taken a selfie in like, 10 minutes and my hair might be out of place, or like, you know, I look awful or something.
One small bug (my selfie game is suffering~)
I did a full wipe and installed the 10/02 version and it's pretty smooth- no flat theme, but very nice.
I do have one bug to report: the camera doesn't work. When accessed it hogs runtime and just hangs on a black screen. Eventually Android asks to...
LTE is not dependent on the software version, but rather which frequencies your phone can use.
Check your variant here and note the frequencies/bands it uses: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_S_IV#Model_variants
and check if it matches your carrier's bands/frequencies...
The E300S is the SKT (SK Telecom) edition of the phone.
Olleh supplies the E300K edition of the phone.
Both have gotten the 4.4.x update- you can plug the phone into Kies and it should update fine.
Sounds cool - I was wondering, a couple weeks ago, just after you said you'd started on CM11, KT in Korea pushed a security policy update to the S4. Maybe this is what's keeping the phone from happening?
I dunno, I'm clueless :P
That's great news :)
I am wondering about the radio though... how are you going to get the radio running when the i9500 has not LTE radio in it at all? I'm interested in knowing, because I couldn't figure it out myself :)
Running 2.0.0, I can't get the 2.1 update in UpdateMe. I get the error message ""There was an error in the file download" as soon as I click "Download new ROM version".
Is there another source? First post links are for v1.2....
Good luck on the job interviews! :)
Are you using the dsixda kitchen for OCHIE ROM? If yes, are you using it stock, or any custom changes? ^_^
Thanks for all your hard work :)
Thanks for the update and all your hard work!
1. I meant the stock Message app won't send them- it errors out without trying the network. Go SMS Pro can send 160-char SMS without MMS with no problem.
2. I mean the delay from when you "swipe to a home screen" to "can touch an icon" is a bit...
Thanks for the great work!
I've been using 1.2 and 1.2.1 (via OTA) since they released and I have some feedback :)
Sending an SMS >80 chars fails. Allowed to enter 160, but trying to send over 80 errors out.
When changing home screens (swiping left or right), there is an invisible delay on...
