    flashing kernel is optional for this rom and you can l escape this step if you do't want to customize the kernel's settings, but if you want to customize some settings and you don't know some of them, default value is the best choice ;)

    it's simple! go to people (contacts) -> menu -> import/export -> import from SIM card i think for managing you need third-party app also you can manage them inside people (contacts) app
