Thread Spoof a different version of Android to install apps

I had a question that Googling has not answered. I have my old S4 laying around and want to give it to my cousin to play Pokemon GO. Before I go through the process of finding a stable ROM and then upgrading/flashing said ROM, I wanted to ask the XDA community if its possible to "spoof" the...

Thread storage/emulated/legacy is empty. Also /sdcard links to storage/emulated/legacy.

Hello all I recently installed XInternalSD from xposed app. Before I did this if I opened Root Explorer and clicked the /sdcard path it would show the files on the internal memory. Now it links to emulated/storage/legacy which is blank and only 900MB in size. Is that correct? I swear it's not...

Post How to root Note 3 on Lollipop

Thanks worked from OK2 Stock. One question... Can I use another SU application? I was trying to use an old wireless tethering application but it is asking me if I am rooted and won't start. Titanium backup runs fine and says I have root, as does Root Checker. If not, does anyone have a...

    Post [APP][Xposed][1.6.5]Snapprefs - The ultimate Snapchat-utility [9.21.1.0] [JB-M]

Thanks for the response. Just updated both and after a reboot both cameras (front/back) in the SC app are blacked out. Reverted to my working versions.

    Post [APP][Xposed][1.6.5]Snapprefs - The ultimate Snapchat-utility [9.21.1.0] [JB-M]

I take it I still need to uninstall Xposed then upgrade Snapchat in order to upgrade? I haven't upgraded SC or SP in over a month due to the "Oh No" issue. Thanks in advance.

Post [ROM][OFFICIAL] CyanogenMod Nightly Builds for jfltespr

Hi all, Quick question. Is there a stable build of CM12, as in an official Stable release, or is it all just nightly builds now? I am still on CM 10.2.1 and don't really have any issues with it but would love to upgrade to Android 5+, but only on a stable CM ROM.

    Thread Upgrade question

I am on CM 10.2.1 running Android 4.3.1 (MJA). I was thinking about upgrading to the latest CyanogenMod version or another ROM. I take it I would have to upgrade my Android version correct or would the new ROM include that upgrade? Also, would it be safer to go back to a stock ROM and download...

Post [ROM][OFFICIAL] CyanogenMod Nightly Builds for jfltespr

Hi guys, I'm still on cm 10.2, and had a question. Is it possible to use another phone program instead of the baked in AOSP one? I could use touchpad dialer with cm 7 on my EVO, but haven't found a way to do this in CM 10.. Sent from my Sprint S4 using XDA premium.

Post [discussion] where does snapchat store photos/videos?

Hmm. Looks like something changed. Did the normal routine as per the instructions on page 6 of this thread. and only the top 10% of the image is viewable the rest is just blank/blocks. Did snapchat change their encryption?

    Post [KERNEL][SPR][AOSP/TW/GE - 5.0/4.4/4.3/4.2][02/06/2015] KT-SGS4 - NAE - KTweaker

Sometimes when connecting my phone to my car via Bluetooth to listen to music, the sound will get all scrambled. I have to pause the song or app (iheartradio) for a few seconds and then the sound goes back to normal. I have also experienced this when playing music local to my phone via...

Thread Touchpad issues when calling automated systems

Hello When calling Sprint and DirecTV today I noticed that my key presses were not being recognized by the automated system. I am on cm 10.2, using ktoonsez kernel (4/28 tried like 3 others). If I call my own number (voicemail) the key presses are recognized. Any thoughts? Sent from my...
