One area that the camera impressed with was digital zoom (8x). Daylight pictures from 20 feet away were good. Guess that's one advantage of a high megapixel count.

Got the update in India today, it's the same April update as Spain got earlier. No noticeable camera improvements but I liked the new single take camera mode.

Samsung apparently paused updates in India during lockdown, they have now resumed updates. Maybe next month S10 Lite will finally be updated.

With the S10 series getting some S20 camera features, S10 Lite is not mentioned in the press release.

That was my experience with S7 and S9 hence I've turned off fast charging on S10 Lite.

GCam ports are unstable at the moment

This might be true for other phones too but super steady video mode makes the image a lot darker than usual.

The ambient light sensor doesn't work well if the light is at an acute angle to the screen (using Samsung pre-applied screen protector).

No improvements noticable in low light pictures. Daylight pictures were decent anyway.

Google messages is available, Google camera isn't available for non Google phones.

I don't have a OnePlus device to compare but many review sites mention that OnePlus fingerprint scanner is better.

Also noticed that the auto flash kicks in a lot more than my old S7, now wondering of if the S10 lite camera is an upgrade at all.
