You're correct, it's not something you need to worry about. The only issue with KNOX is that when you root the tab then KNOX will be irrevocably tripped. This may affect your warranty, though most reports I've heard is that it doesn't. If your company isn't using it you don't need it.

You should ask in the galaxy tab 4 forum on a thread that's not been dead for three years. Also, when you do so you'll need to give a lot more information. At a minimum you'll need to 1) explain what you're trying to do; and 2) recreate the steps that got you to the problem.
