    I used to have the same situation with my milestone, if I used gps and had the car charger it would slowly drain. I just chalked it up to the fact that the gps, screen and processing power required equaled more then what the charger was giving. I have not noticed the drain as bad with the atrix...

    I just went into my contacts in the web version of gmail and starred everyone that I wanted in my phone contacts list. Then on my phone I just set the contacts to favorites and all that showed up was the starred contacts from gmail.
