So I just got a evo shift and I want to flash it to cricket and run a custom rom! But I got a few questions! Should I root and flash a rom and then flash to cricket? Or flash to cricket and then root/ flash a custom rom? FYI the shift is running 2.3.3

Yea I usually flash with a full battery usually late at night after my phones been on the charger for a few hours while the family is sleeping.. Dude you are awesome for the research.. So I'm guessing my best bet would be to get a replacement or stick with celeb 4.1.. Don't wanna risk it with...
