everything i read for making a recovery image says to boot int recovery, (vol up, home, power) then use arrows to scrool to recovery.. well i boot using home, vol up and power and i dont get a recovery option. I get reboot system now apply update from ADB Apply update from external storage wipe...

thank you so much for all the help and patience.. i have the rom installed and running.. i went back to install the superSU, went as planned .. rebooted phone and superSU disappeared from the app drawer, and it seems i do not have root access... tried again and still same results.. any ideas?

can you give me a link to the 2.6 beta please.. i do not see the beta on their page once i follow the instructions and install the 2.6 beta, i guess to install the kit kat i use fastboot and use command fastboot flash kitkat.zip kitkat being the file name for the rom i download?

I found it and ran it.. Read Cid as 2222222..all 2s...i am on 1.15 trying to get updated to 3.06 Guess next step is going to htcdev and unlocking the bootloader correct?
