That's just it, i haven't done anything different. It can't be an app because i haven't installed anything since the upgrade. What bothers me is it seems to be a system process that's causing it.

I have read where the KitKat upgrade for the G2 is supposed to add speed and increase battery life even further. For me however it seems its the opposite. I have had way worse battery life since installing (pc lg tool) the KitKat update. I was going all day with anywhere from 40 - 30% left...

The only problem with that is, you would have to unplug it if you wanted to plug the phone into a pc and say transfer files. Sure there are wireless means of doing that, but some people would rather a physical connection to transfer.

I have the white case and I agree with others the case feels cheap. Its the high gloss plastic they used. The stand also, is not very useful. I ordered an incipio to see if it looks any better.

This phone has a sapphire lens, which is a very hard material, I don't think its needed.
