ok.. so... i fixed it..!! used a pocket knife.. thumb prick.. and a lighter... but.... id suggest a heat gun or a hairdryer...(lighter) prying tool... playing cards.. or guitar pick (pocket knife) and a small Phillips (star) skrewdriver.. (modified thumb prick) ok.. so.. heat up the back...

ok so last night i put my S7 (running latest RR rom) on charge.. woke up. walked over to pick up my fone.. found it, as one would expect.. green led on (showing its charged) with the screen off.. BUT.... for some or other reason.. this os the only state this #&$+#ing phone wants to be in now...

mine did the same.. till this morning where when i took it off charge.. the green light stayed on.. but.. thats the only thing that comes on... screen black.. force restart is non responsive.. dont even get picked up by pc when i connect it via usb... DL mode start up is also a fail... im stumped..

been using it since the post came up yesterday.. and im SO glad to finally have found an ASOP Rom that works.. its fast.. smooth and so far has excellent battery life. havent experienced any over heating. will report if i find any bugs as i put it through the paces. thank you guys for assembling...

I had a similar issue.. and dude.. I can tell you now.. to fix fhis is gonna take alotta googling.. alotta cursing.. some tears.. anger fits are bound to flare up.. general hate of life and self was observed.. that is also ONLY if ir is bot a hardware malfunction... if its an elecrtical...

Revert back to stock.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785089 that should get you going.. same thing happened to me but at that exact time my battery seems to have died. So it was dead.. as in...DEAD.. no red light when charging.. no screen activity.. even my pc didnt wanna...
