OK; thanks for that... I'm not sure how to share the phone's screen through usb cable on the PC, since usb port doesn't recognise the phone using the phone's driver. As far as the motherboard is concerned...I'm based in the UK... But if I do decide to go for one, it may have to be from eBay UK.

After carrying out all the tasks... in download mode, using qualcomm tool, a message pops up on PC's screen informing me task... (on phone) has completed and I should reboot the phone. But as I mentioned; I can't see anything on the phone's screen to know whether the phone is rebooting or not...

Yes, I tried all that...including shorting the jumper. I think the phone may be booting in download mode using Qualcomm tool, but because the phone is blank/black, nothing can be seen on phone screen to carry out the rest of the tasks...

Ivomin, you tried to help me in the past...; and I used all your tools in the folder and did as you suggested...but nothing works. Because the phone screen is totally blank/black and nothing can be seen, I'm told an IC on the motherboard may have blown; therefore it'll have to be a replacement...

I've hard-bricked my LG D858HK. I mistakenly used a (Lollipop app) for LG D858HK, to flash the custom ROM on my LG D858HK (Marshmallow). Now the phone won't boot, my computer USB port doesn't recognise the phone, and the phone screen is blank. Can't see anything whatsoever on the screen...

Hi Ivomin! I tried the tools you sent me (by trial and error) as there were no instructions to show me how to repair my D858HK phone. When I tried to use LG Flash Tool 2014, the USB port detects 2 phones plugged in, then tells me to unplug one of them (when there is only one phone plugged in)...
