I think the nexus 4 has quite a bit of life left in it Google would be stupid to cut support now maybe after lollipop they'll cut support like the gnex did with after jellybean but that was a special circumstance that the nexus 4 won't have.

The nexus 4 is still a good device I use mine as a backup but I have no doubt that I could use it as a main phone,stay far away from the gnex it was a good device in its day its just to slow even for basic tasks I had one it eventually died

I see you're s-on your trying to flash a wwe firmware if your s-on and its not originally a wwe edition it will give that error go s-off and change cid and it should work

This ROM works very well love it,good job.

Sunshine is the only way to s-off now that is the easiest way to get to lolipop you can stay s-on and download a 4.4.2 backup for your specific carrier then flash stock recovery check firmware version to get the right recovery for your firmware
