The other mi browser is just called 'browser' in app list, this is one which was used before update. Its still recognized as system app so cant be uninstalled. The new 2nd one is getting updates from play store, its called mi browser pro which you can see if you go into settings on the browser...

Well it does 'work well' but there are bugs which shouldn't be there if there was some basic testing done, as I have mi9 se with same rom version and no such bugs, both updated through ota. Wireless charging no longer tells you if phone is placed properly or not, or if it is slow/fast charging...

Terrible rom. No improvements, just lots of bugs and really horrible performance. MIUI 10 with Pie was way better

I got a new mix 2s recently, brand new sealed with Android 8. I did a test on video playback as curious. After Pie update SOT on same everything dropped 2hours. It was 9 hours before and 7 after. After seeing that I'm afraid to update it to Android 10 but I wonder if there could be an improvement.

Exactly the same. It seemed normal at first (1%every2.5hours) but then I remember it doing that the odd time before. Low and behold it is now back to draining at 1% per hour standby in airplane mode.

Not for me but maybe it will take a while to settle. I just updated and let phone sleep for 1.5 hours. Battery dropped from 56->53%

The issue is I think most people have a habit of using their quick charger at night, when it is not needed. You sleep for much longer than the phone takes to charge, even with 0.5a speed. The only time there is a benefit from quick chargers is during the day, but how many people really need to...

I have a 3 year old phone, which I owned from new and has had hundreds of charging cycles, but still has 99% battery capacity of a brand new phone according to both accubattery and measuring with plug in monitor. Did you buy from Mi Global store? I bought cc9 from them, it is most certainly a refurbished phone and not new, looks like it had a screen replacement done. They are up to no good with this model...also see another buyer received broken back glass even though there was no damage to the box

Ok, just there is a download icon in status bar, maybe it was just when you took the sceenshot. Either way, your issue is consistent standby drain since there is not much difference in graph between battery drain during screen on, and battery drain during standby. You should check with mobile...

Looks like you are downloading in background? Downloading with 4g will drain battery very fast in standby.

What global rom are you talking about? xiaomi.eu?
