Would carrier service have anything to do with this? I tried this with my newly activated One X and my previous Nexus S--same issue with hearing some sounds put nothing was transferred. I thought maybe it was because the NS wasn't activated.

I saw this online and it's definitely my first choice. Are you risking the slight height difference in the XL or have you already seen this case fit on the AT&T model? I'd love to see a pic when you get it.
