    Post XT1710-01 Root Guide?

I did but they involve disabling encryption, which means having to wipe data everytime an update rolls around. For those that see this in the future, I followed this guide, but used Magisk 13.3 and have working root, without having to wipe my data (bootloader already unlocked)...

    Thread XT1710-01 Root Guide?

New to the Moto Z2 play, moved to this from a Z2 force on Verizon after the shattershield started peeling. Anyway, there seems to be a lot of conflicting information here, and i'm struggling to actually nail down the process for root. My bootloader is already unlocked, however between several...

Thread Post 8.0 Update Dialer Issues

So i got my update two days ago, on VZW. Ever since, everytime i recieve a phone call, it will not show the contact name, just the phone number. I've cleared cache and data for every app possibly related, (all three phone apps and services, messenger, contacts, contacts storage, etc.). I'm kind...

    Post Moto z notification light

Its sounding like there is an auxillary light, but it cannot be used as a notification light (as of yet, perhaps we can access it if we get root like with the nexus 6)

Post Yay I'm finally the first person to (almost?) break my Moto Z Force. *Facepalm*

You'd be surprised how much in the automotive industry is fixed by hitting something with a wrench and jiggling stuff. Everything mechanical likes to get stuck at some point or another

    Post Moving to nexus yet?

I really wish I could, but at this point i'm so used to moto display and the big battery, don't think id have an easy time with the tiny battery in the 5x

Post Unlocking Motorola Android boot loaders

While this generally works for moto phones, verizon phones and a few others are not eligible for it. If you try, the moto site will tell you this.

    Thread Is there any hope?

I just received a replacement device today, unfortunately it's already on lollipop. Coming from a turbo rooted with mofo I feel crippled. Is there any hope in the near future of an unlock or a new mofo release? Can't seem to find much info that's not older than a month.

Thread New to the Turbo Family

Hi all! Just picked up a turbo still on 4.4.4, should be here in a few days. No real experience with moto devices that're locked down, I had a moto x dev edition before my nexus 6 (will be switching between the two) and am not entirely sure on the process used to gain root. I've heard...

    Post [ROM] [M] JDX 4.0 [10/6/2015][shamu] [MRA58K]

Get it running as your primary rom, then either copy it to a secondary and re-flash something that can use a multirom kernel as a primary, or swap it with a secondary rom with a multi-rom kernel.

    Post [ROM] [M] JDX 4.0 [10/6/2015][shamu] [MRA58K]

To get this to work on multirom, install as your primary (copy your current primary to secondary if you want to save it)and let it boot to make sure everything works, and then swap it with a secondary rom. Installing as a secondary right off the bat will wipe your primary rom.

    Post Flashing Kk over lollipop

Yes, if you're using TWRP then to perform a factory reset you'd go to wipe and then slide the factory reset slider. Make sure to make a nandroid next time! To restore to complete stock youll need to either need to do it manually through fastboot, or use motorola's flashing utility called RSD...
