I don't think the battery is going to be enough for my daily use without some mid-day charging. I'd rather go with a battery case if someone makes one. Any word on the street? (I did do a search before posting)

Got the Gear VR today. Very much a no go. The phone didn't even detect the device at all. I tried manually installing the apps from the included SD card and they wouldn't open.

I ordered a Gear VR for kicks. It should be here Thursday. I will report back if it actually works or not.

If you see no mention of a charging voltage, or specifically Quick Charge 2.0, it is likely not. I would say this one is not.

$90 is rather steep for what is essential two of the oem size batteries wired in parallel.

That one isn't a QuickCharge 2.0 charger and is likely not as fast.
