Post AdHell 2 - Rootless Ad Blocking

Lost access to Samsung account I've lost access to my Samsung account and the key is soon expiring. Does anyone know if the Samsung account is somehow tied to the device now or can I just create a new Samsung account and a new key to continue using Adhell 2? Thanks.

Thread "Android OS" using gigabytes of traffic

Hi all, Android OS seems to be using about a gigabyte a day of WiFi traffic. Does anyone what this might be, could it be a false reading, and could you guys please check if you have similar readings. (Under Mobile Data, enable Show Wi-Fi usage in the menu). I've searched for the solution...

Post Audio qulity from headphone jack

Unfortunately, you have to be rooted to access those system files. After that it's just a simple task of editing them in any text editor.

Post Fundamental audio buzzing problem with a brand new LG G3...unacceptable!

Hey guys, I had the same issue described in the thread. Noise and artifacts in one channel when headphones were recognized as a headset, and no issues when on line-out. Well here's a fix for it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=59601465&postcount=150 I have stock rom in which I...

Post Audio qulity from headphone jack

Great news! I just tried the fix from that thread and it worked. Here's the post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=59601465&postcount=150 I'm using stock rom which had 3 mixer xml files and I edited 2 of them, mixer_paths.xml and mixer_paths_qcwcn.xml. Also, instead of changing...

Post Hissing noise in left ear when playing music through headphones

Thank you so much for this! I wanted to return my phone because of it. I'm using stock rom and i deleted those lines in both mixer_paths.xml and mixer_paths_qcwcn.xml, and did not change the HPHL/R volumes. All good now!

Post Audio qulity from headphone jack

Yea same thing. I have artifacts in the left channel except when I manage to force the phone to recognize the headphones as line-out. I did this with the adapter to test it and it's impractical if not impossible to use the same adapter all the time. I'm gonna try doing this right this moment to...

Post Audio qulity from headphone jack

Using line out shouldn't make any difference on audio quality. It only disables the remote (buttons and microphone). Would also really like a way to force the line-out mode. Btw, does this affect all G3s? Cause right now I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle of replacing it.

Flashed and trimmed successfully. Recovery works as well. You are making it very hard for me to justify the purchase of a new phone. Thanks a lot, jerk!

    Post [KERNEL][TW]Forest-HelloWorld-Make-II kernel_JB N7000_V201-P_Final

Hey forest, thanks for the effort but this kernel has panel overclocked. Spen bug is there and the panel goes wacky in offline charging just like the rest of kernels with panel overclock. Happy holidays!

    Post [KERNEL][TW]Forest-HelloWorld-Make-II kernel_JB N7000_V201-P_Final

I can confirm the s-pen bug. Its present in every kernel with panel overclock. Geecko cooked up one kernel upon my request with new gpu drivers but with no panel overclock, and that one doesnt have the s-pen bug. Maybe if we ask very nicely, for future kernel releases Forest, Geecko and others...

Post [KERNEL][AOSP/TW][27 Dec] War Kernel r3 // colder than ever

Hi Geecko, was just wondering if you could build one for TW but without panel overclocking? Not a fan of boot and offline charging corruption, but i certainly am of everything else you've done with the kernel. Thanks.

Post [Kernel] TRIM: Speeding up the Galaxy Note n7000

You are right about that. I was on philz kernel, which I just read has this line in the description "Patched kernel to avoid brick bug issues on ICS 4.0.4". Im guessing that also prevents trimming. Oh well, works well enough for CM. BTW, Lanchon, do you think that running the latest CM...
