I just updated my rooted white G3 using n!ghtgolds method and everything seems to be working just fine! I did lose the root but I easily re-rooted my phone

so if you do the update through the LG support tool on a white version (following n!ghtgolds instructions) does it mess up LTE and SD cards?

Somebody on the T-Mobile forums posted that the OTA update is on hold cause it was causing problems on the G3 but not sure how true that statement is

after i enter the IMEI manually and click ok, I get the check serial number and model error message..is it suppose to do that?

I didn't send them my proof of purchase but they said they can see if the phone is still under warranty by just looking at the serial number

I sent my rooted G3 to LG for repair and I got it back fixed but was stock with 10r on it

Has anybody sent a rooted G3 back to LG for this repair? Any issues?

Yes I did. I am rooted everything else seems to be working fine

So I just updated my g3 to the 10r (bootloader and modem as well) along with the SU zip file but my phone still doesn't get rooted for some reason. I tried installing the SU file again but no luck. Anybody know why my phone isn't getting rooted?

One more question, did you reboot the phone after each step or flash them all one after another then rebooted? Thank!!
