    Post [ROM][Official][Nightly] LineageOS 16.0 for OnePlus 3/3T

I've tried this. I was already on one of the older builds, so I've just went ahead, backupped my system and boot and flashed it. OTA worked like a charm. I just pressed "install" and everything went smooth automatically.

I'll just tag dianlujitao and nvertigo67, it finally looks like the culprit of OTA updater failing is indeed F2FS. Logs of it are attached to this post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79169667&postcount=1379 Personally I don't know a lot about fixing stuff like 90% of people...

    Post [ROM][Official][Nightly] LineageOS 16.0 for OnePlus 3/3T

dianlujitao A lot of people are complaining about the OTA nott working also on Reddit - https://old.reddit.com/r/LineageOS/comments/b3p8rl/lineageos_16_wont_do_ota_updates_on_oneplus_3t/?st=jtizzdc1&sh=8b24e651 Should someone of us just go, and create an issue on github issue tracker? Maybe...

    Post [ROM][Official][Nightly] LineageOS 16.0 for OnePlus 3/3T

Well that's the thing, it only affects some of us and we weren't able to track it down why. There is just a wild guess it has something to do with F2FS and SELinux. Please see: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79098123&postcount=1170 and especially this one...

    Post [ROM][Official][Nightly] LineageOS 16.0 for OnePlus 3/3T

That's a really good point which I don't really know the answer, I guess only guys from LOS will know that. This is the reason why you're a great developer (if I can say it like this), you always try to ask questions which people like me don't even have in mind.

    Post [ROM][Official][Nightly] LineageOS 16.0 for OnePlus 3/3T

Well you can just try and push the patch to LOS gerrit and add dianlujitao as reviewer, my guess is this should be in op3 device repo, as it doesn't seem to be an issue on other devices (or I did not see anything about it). Worst case scenario dianlujitao says it can't be merged or thats it's...

    Post [ROM][Official][Nightly] LineageOS 16.0 for OnePlus 3/3T

Posting this here because I did not find anyone talking about it in this thread. Default notification LED settings seems broken to me, see here: https://gitlab.com/LineageOS/issues/android/issues/272 Can anyone confirm this issue? Maybe nvertigo67 ? You keep track of things like this (btw off...

    Post [ROM][SDCLANG-6][microg ready][OMS exPosures]NLOS-16.0] - 20211016

What do you mean by a jump? I had to go back to OxygenOS as I found out that flashing ROMs simply isn't for me anymore, I just want my phone to be a phone and make calls without me checking for new versions etc.(lol). Is the position of Android and OP logo misaligned? Where does it happen...

nvertigo67 so I sat down and finished the bootanimation. I liked the rotating "+" so much that I just couldn't get rid of it. Final version is this one: https://streamable.com/u1mik I did two versions of this, one with old and narrow oneplus logo and one with new and thick logo. Both rendered...

Alright, I'll try to finish it asap, my time schedule is really tight last couple of days. I'll probably try and do something about that first part where it transitions from the OnePlus logo, and just make it not transition from OP logo, so it can be usable on both old and new OP bootlogo.

The animation is really slow (as you mentioned), is this the 60fps version? I also noticed that after entering PIN for decryption, the animation plays from the beginning. Is it even possible to play just the middle part again after entering the pin? And yeah, it's not the final version :) I'll...

What about this? It's just an idea again :) - https://streamable.com/u1mik - old bootlogo, and ending is combined ("+" and moving text together).

    Post [ROM][SDCLANG-6][microg ready][OMS exPosures]NLOS-16.0] - 20211016

Allright, so there's 2 things. First is that as you said, when I make it with the old bootlogo, then the first transition will just look bad without flashing old boot.bin, which is in my opinion not worth just for the sake of boot animation looking good. So there are options: 1) old bootlogo...

    Post [ROM][SDCLANG-6][microg ready][OMS exPosures]NLOS-16.0] - 20211016

This could be due to animation being rendered already at 60fps, I changed framerates in my composition from 60 to 30 and animations still seems smooth to me. I also took advantage of that rotating "+", and made whole bootanimation around it (basic idea is that the + disappears and then appears...

I believe that this behavior is also on stock LineageOS by Dian. In fact, I think I also reported it but didn't paid much attention to it as it's just a visual bug. You could go ahead and report it again, as it looks like it can be a bit frustrating.
