Post Intune company portal for email and work calender

The digital passwords aspect is not accurate. We had this rolled out, and I can still use my fingerprint. Calendar though is a pain. For a short while, the Samsung Email app worked with the corporate email outside of the Company Portal space, but it has now stopped working. This is very frustrating.

Post WiFi strength, range, and throughput

Both the Wifi, and cell signals are weaker than the Nexus 6P and the Samsung S7 Edge by a fair margin. With the Wifi, this is most notable when you're on a level of a house other than the level of the router. The Wifi cuts out periodically, and its signal strength is about 1/3rd of the other two...

    Post Adoptable Storage guide

Thanks a lot for this great work. FYI, when I did this, I couldn't get Google Music to download to the SD card. I guess it downloads to internal storage first, and when the SD card is not adopted storage, Google Music sees that it's there. But when it is adopted storage, it doesn't - which I...

Post Worth buying nexus 6p right now? Or wait?

Denny, are you aware that the font size can be changed? Just go to settings and search for font. The TomTom app I can't speak to, but I'm not sure what's wrong with Google Maps and Waze that you would need that app. In all likelihood it doesn't work because TomTom has not updated it for Android...

Post [Q] GPS not working properly

That sounds like you're spot on. Google maps uses a combo of wifi and GPS for positioning. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G928A using Tapatalk

Post [Q] GPS not working properly

This is the first time I've seen someone only have this issue with Waze and not Google Maps. May be a different issue. Someone posted some workarounds a couple of pages back. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G928A using Tapatalk

Post [Q] GPS not working properly

I think only one person in this thread has sent his back, and that fixed it. This is where having a spare phone like a One Plus X can be useful, whether it's because of this or a phone breaking. But of course even the low end phones are not free. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G928A using Tapatalk

You're having this issue with the Edge Plus? That's the first one I've heard of with the Plus. Very frustrating. Mine does not have this issue.

Post [Q] GPS not working properly

I wouldn't call you an idiot. The Edge+ is a better phone. The 4GB ram makes lag a thing of the past, the screen is even more beautiful, and the screen size is very nice considering the size of the phone (smaller than the iPhone 6 Plus yet larger sceen). The only down side is no 120GB storage...

Post [Q] GPS not working properly

It makes sense that it's not a universal problem. If it was, it would have been picked up by reviewers. I've read or watched many reviews from Android Central, Phandroid, Android Authority and others, and not one of them mentioned GPS as an issue even after months of use. So I think you're...

Post [Q] GPS not working properly

And for the record, I don't think it's childish. If GPS is important to you, and it is the many people, it's simply unacceptable that they shipped so many units of their primary phone with this being broken. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G928A using Tapatalk

Post [Q] GPS not working properly

I tried out the iPhone 6 plus S at the store yesterday. If you're going to switch, switch to the S. The 3D touch thing will make your life a lot easier. Also, to get past some of the limitations, I recommend installing S-Launcher app. It will add quick shortcuts (not on/off switches) to the...

Post [Q] GPS not working properly

The problem is that most of their devices are so damn good. I'm equally upset with the GPS issue. But when I got back to Android after a brief work based hiatus to the iPhone, I looked for the best phone on the market camera and screen wise, power wise etc., and found myself right back to the S6...
