Post [GUIDE][02/06] How to repair/unbrick Asus Memo Pad Smart 10

Thank you!!!! :D :good: Finally, the system update was installed on my unbootable ASUS MeMO Pad K001 / ASUS MeMO Pad Smart 10 / ME301T. Clarification: The .zip file extension is needed. I used a 8GB MicroSD card that was already FAT32 formatted and had other files on it.

Did it work? Hey, did you try buying the other charger? Did the plug fit into the original Nexus 10 charger?

Post (INFO ROM) Download CyanogenMod 10 build nightly official

Thanks for the advice! I ordered a new anker battery, but also found another post about battery calibration. I did one full cycle (charge to full, delete stats, discharge to empty, charge to full) and it already seems a lot more stable. I have tested the camera on various charge levels, and...

Post (INFO ROM) Download CyanogenMod 10 build nightly official

Damnit! :( It just rebooted twice when I used the camera with flash. Taking a picture without flash works. Just before the first reboot, the battery was fully charged. After reboot it dropped to 82%. I wonder if this is a hardware issue or ROM-related. I did wipe battery stats a few weeks ago...

Post (INFO ROM) Download CyanogenMod 10 build nightly official

12-10 build very unstable - gonna try 12-24 My phone has been really unstable with the 12-10 build. Using the camera with flash often causes a reboot, and there are lots of problems with battery/power management. It drains very fast, without getting much hot. Sometimes it just dies at like 40%...

Post [Q] so many things, so insecure

Great succes! :good: :D I installed universal firmware 3.33. Wouldn't boot ROM, so I used recovery to wipe cache, dalvik and battery stats, then reflash Paranoid v.21. Works like a charm! Lightning fast :) Sent from my HTC Sensation using xda app-developers app

Post [Q] so many things, so insecure

Thanks guys :) My version is apparently 3.24.401.1. I wonder if an upgrade will improve stability/performance. Would you recommend following this guide, or should I just stay with the current version? *edit* I think I might give this a shot :D Firmware information thread The guy says something...

Nice guide ganeshp! @ganeshp Wow, that was really a nice and quick, yet thorough explanation! Cudos for being so helpful! I was just wondering, is there any good reason to upgrade firmware after having S-OFF, custom recovery and flashed a working JB ROM? Actually, I don't even know which...

    Post Crazy Sensation battery stats

I'm also getting these kind of issues on my Sensation. Try fully discharging and recharging the battery twice. It used to help with laptop batteries.

Post [Q] Best ROM + kernel for battery

+1 on Paranoid v.20 :) Seems like a pretty good ROM - better experience than bruce's november-builds. I wonder if v.21 is worth the update. No issues so far, just slow until I changed the governor from ondemand to badass. *edit* Actually, turns out v.20 was still painfully slow after running a...

Post What the heck happened to my phone!?

Since the Kernel is responsible for thermal monitoring and controlling the frequency scaling, of course it can damage the hardware. I don't know if there are any thermal safety features like in full-blown X86 CPUs, but even then, you can still damage the chip if it is pushed too hard. Not to...

    Post private number?

At least in Denmark, you can hide your number in a particular call by placing *31* before the dialed number.
