I did the exact same thing, really not happy. But that's split milk, if ICS doesn't get the phone working I will just buy something that works. This has been the most painful piece of tech I have ever owned.

Yes but when you buy a tomtom they work out of the box so you don't need x number of updates to get it work! I am on my second 2x fully updated and I still don't have a working phone, custom roms just give me other issues.

Similar issue here I have had the same issue when moving from CM7 to stock, Could the issue be caused because the ROM is different? I have just uninstalled and reinstalled from the market as I have hit an issue.

That's very interesting, is it a pre-paid or a post-paid sim? How old is the sim? I just tried a Telstra post-paid sim and it worked, yet my pre-paid sim will not. Can anyone offer some insight here?
