Post New 4.2.1 update for the US version rolling out

If you place the update on the root of the microSD you should be able to just unmount/remove it then re insert it and have the update triangle show up within a few seconds of it remounting. ON A SIDE NOTE: For those that may need to do a reinstall for whatever reason of the 10.6.1.8 and...

As far as I know you can't downgrade, at least not without unlocking. In which case you'll lose your warranty. Which if this update messed up the Bluetooth module you'll be SOL. Unfortunately, since that last post I have lost at least partial root. Started having issues with some apps not...

Post New 4.2.1 update for the US version rolling out

My tab isn't unlocked. Just stock rooted. I didn't do a temp unroot before flashing, but root restored fine. The only issue I have (or that i know about so far) is the Bluetooth quit working after the update. Which sucks because I use a Bluetooth headset and a PS3 controller. Sent from my...

Post New 4.2.1 update for the US version rolling out

Thanks, the HDMI issue was the hotel TV I was using. To check to see if you have the Bluetooth issue all you need to do is try to turn it on. If it turns on and doesn't immediately flip right back off then you don't have that issue. Could you please check and post back? TY Sent from my ASUS...

My Library is working fine for me. Are you sure that it isn't the book? Every time I have had this issue with My Library it was the book and would behave similarly if loaded in another reader. AND JUST TO REPEAT: Is anyone else having the BT or HDMI sound issues since this update? EDIT: HDMI...

I am having the same issue with the Bluetooth. They most likely screwed it up. Also i'm not getting any sound via HDMI anymore either. Can anyone else verify wether their Bluetooth and/or HDMI sound is or isn't working please? EDIT: HDMI issue resolved. It was the hotel TV that I was using...

    Post Build 10.4.2.18 available

The actual resolution is 1280 x 800 (including taskbar which takes up 48 pixels in both portrait and landscape). DPI is 160. Aspect Ratio @ 16:9 the aspect ratio of 800 x 400 is 2:1 so you should find a resolution that is closer to 16:9 in order to make things look ok. Good luck! Sent from my...

Post Boot loop came from nowhere!

Have you tried doing a wipe? Vol down + pwr button to enter bootloader screen then move selector to "wipe" via volume buttons (Mine work opposite to the instructions at the top of the screen. I.E. where it says use vol up I have to use vol down instead). Note this will erase everything on your...

    Post Question about the keyboard-dock.

Yes it can. I just tested this for you. Also it needs to be unchecked not checked. Checking disables the feature. Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using xda app-developers app

You shouldn't need to be rooted to use the Sony PS3 dualshock 3 with this tablet. You do however need to hook it up via the USB cable first. (requires keyboard dock or Asus USB adapter) Basically plug it in, press the PS3 button to turn on the controller, use the controller in a game while...
