It won't let you download it because the device is not eligible. I found an apk here once, but it mysteriously disappeared last night off of my Note 3.

Use Schapps Advanced Configuration and find the "Unlock HTC Home" setting, you can move it around then

still having probs I tried this, but no joy! Anybody else have an idea?? I'm still getting boxes instead of letters on the HTC Album :confused:

The utility is on the xda site, but I have no problem giving it to you. There are a lot of other fun things in the program, just make sure you do a full back-up before you start messing around with it. ('Sprite' is great for this.) It's a registry editor, but it is formatted in a multiple choice...

Have you used the Touch control settings in "Schaps Advanced Configuration" or "Kaiser Tweak? Both are available here on XDA...
