Pico package doesn't have the gdialer so you are using the native ROM dialer. Unfortunately I can't help you with this problem because I'm using the Google Phone so yeah. Maybe the dev himself can help you somehow.

I have no problems with the dialer whatsoever. Question is are you using the native dialer or did you install the Gdialer?

Then you'll have to wait a long time. The sustainer aka mg712702 has said that there will, probably, not be an update ever since he is focusing his resources on the AEX 8.1 ROM. I believe there is a camera fix out there so it shouldn't be too hard to come across it.

You can dirty flash it with no worries by either using the settings system update feature or by downloading the file yourself. Either of those are the same.
